Lentus Composites is working to deliver exciting new products for a sustainable future.
Composite components form the enabling technology within high power density electric motors. These motors deliver high efficiency therefore allowing more range or smaller battery packs.
The hydrogen economy is getting ever closer and will form part of satisfying the world’s need for sustainable energy. Lentus are developing its range of high pressure storage vessels to meet the demands of hydrogen storage and working with group company SST Technology to deliver the cryogenic pipework to allow hydrogen to be transferred.
Lentus also have been employing hybrid tooling (flax bulking plies) where possible to reduce the carbon footprint of the components manufactured. With the environment issues in mind, Lentus are looking to move to full flax tooling in the near future for as many components as possible.
