Graduate Buyer

Lentus Composites is looking for a Graduate Buyer to join our team based in Eynsham, Oxfordshire. At Lentus we are focused on the customer and for us this means designing complex develop and produce composite components that are often bespoke and high profile. As a Graduate Buyer, you’ll be confident in developing strong relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers, managing these relationships through supplier account reviews and two-way communication and interaction with all other relevant functions within the business.

Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of suppliers ensuring Quality, Delivery and Cost are aligned to the business requirements and expectations. You’ll facilitate the purchasing of material in line with MRP, analyse supplier information to establish on time delivery for the production line and manage exception messages in line with the business needs.

Ideally with a degree in an engineering discipline, you will be an excellent decision maker and will thrive working in a fast-paced environment. Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our engineering team here in Eynsham, Oxfordshire.

This is an autonomous position where you will support various projects developing the next generation of composite products to meet a growing customer demand for innovative, technically advanced components.

We are looking for someone who brings a high degree of technical understanding therefore an engineering degree is essential, as is demonstrable industry experience (ideally Technology, Automotive or Motorsport).

Manufacturing/Production Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer in the Filament Wound Composites Value Stream, your role will span full support of both new product introduction and the improvement of existing processes.This is a key role within the business and a unique opportunity to work in an environment that will broaden your experience and skill set.

Ideally you will be degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline but we would also be keen to hear from applicants who have completed an apprenticeship and have subsequent working experience within an manufacturing environment. The ability to read CAD drawings is essential and a working knowledge of SAP (or similar) would be highly beneficial.

Production Manager – Moulded Composites

Reporting to the Business Unit Director you are required to manage the day to day running of all production activities within Moulded Composites. This is a key role within the Business Unit where you will be expected to manage a team of 20 plus including Laminators, Trimmers & Inspectors co-ordinating their activities in order to deliver the production plan on time, to the required quality and within cost.
The role also includes Health & Safety, Environmental controls, safety and welfare, preventative maintenance, training and production.
As a key member of the operations team you will be actively involved in the development and growth of the plant and processes within the area and then ensuring that these high standards are maintained. This role covers both new products and existing production programmes.

Composite Technician – Laminator

  • Laminating of pre-preg components to manufacture high performance composites for the F1, Sporting goods and Automotive markets.
  • Must demonstrate industry proven experience in working directly from customer drawings to a high standard

Composite Technician – Trimmer

  • Trimming of composite components for the F1, Sporting goods and Automotive markets
  • Must demonstrate industry proven experience in working directly from customer drawings to a high standard

CNC Machinist

The key duties for this role are:

  • creating and developing CNC programmes for multi axis Lathes and Mills
  • an understanding of Mazak and the Mazatrol controller to program the CNC Lathes
  • performing routine machine maintenance checks and completing check-sheet records
  • setting up of machines for production runs in both manned and unmanned periods
  • ability to create programmes and successfully prove them out to efficiently produce consistently accurate parts
