Sales Engineers – Moulded Composites and Filament Wound Composites

Two exciting new roles have come up within the dynamic environment at Lentus; sales engineer for the moulded composites area and a sales engineer for the filament wound composites area.

Both roles will be responsible for the day to day management of customers, their requirements and expectations pivotal to the growth of the business. You should be a highly capable, confident individual who can work independently and as part of a cohesive team. A positive, pro-active approach is critical, as is the ability to work to rapidly changing requirements under extremely tight timescales. The individual should have a passion for sales and technical products with particular focus on Automotive, Motorsport and High Performance markets. This role would also suit an Engineer with a strong Commercial interest and capability with a proven track record of project and customer management looking to move into commercial/sales role.

Project Engineer

This role will be part of the Lentus Engineering Team.  You will support the Engineering Team in developing a new portfolio of composite products to support a growing customer demand for innovative, technically advanced components.  You will specify and commission manufacturing facilities appropriate to low-volume and prototype manufacture, test and evaluation and engage with colleagues, reports and customers to ensure customer expectations are met.

Quality Engineer

Lentus Composites is a rapidly growing business with customers across motorsport and advanced industrial applications.  Working within this dynamic environment, the Quality Engineer will take responsibility for the development and implementation of Quality and Production Control Processes. The role will utilise effective business processes to safeguard our customers’ requirement for world-class delivery of product, while facilitating a responsive approach. With a clear understanding of the business quality objectives you will take a hands on approach, employing a variety of tools and, above all, a positive and proactive approach.

Design and Development Engineer

  • Developing new products and technologies to meet customer needs
  • Skilled engineers with a strong mixture of design and practical skills who can demonstrate a track record of product development in a relevant field


Lead/Senior Engineer – Motorsport Products

  • Leading the growth and delivery of Lentus motorsport products division delivering Composite Prop-shafts, Drive-Shafts, Pressure vessels and new composite technology into the motorsport market
  • Experience in a similar environment and leading a team with customer and commercial interaction essential.


Manufacturing/Production Engineer

  • Developing production techniques and processes as well as specification and design of production tooling and equipment
  • Using lean principles to drive continuous improvement within the business whilst supporting the new product introduction processes


Composite Technician – Laminator

  • Laminating of pre-preg components to manufacture high performance composites for the F1, Sporting goods and Automotive markets.
  • Must demonstrate industry proven experience in working directly from customer drawings to a high standard


Composite Technician – Trimmer

  • Trimming of composite components for the F1, Sporting goods and Automotive markets
  • Must demonstrate industry proven experience in working directly from customer drawings to a high standard

 
CNC Machinist

The key duties for this role are:

  • creating and developing CNC programmes for multi axis Lathes and Mills
  • an understanding of Mazak and the Mazatrol controller to program the CNC Lathes
  • performing routine machine maintenance checks and completing check-sheet records
  • setting up of machines for production runs in both manned and unmanned periods
  • ability to create programmes and successfully prove them out to efficiently produce consistently accurate parts
